Each school in our district with 21 or more students of Limited English Proficiency (LEP) must have a functioning English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC).
The role of ELAC is to advise the principal and staff on bilingual programs and service at Roosevelt. We have a small budget from the district, but we need your INPUT as to how that money should be spent. The ELAC members also has representation on the District English Learner Advisor Committee (DELAC).
Thank you for being a big supporter of your child’s educational process at Roosevelt and for considering to serve on our ELAC, an important advisory committee that advises our staff on your child’s educational needs and services.
